This past Saturday was one beautiful day, and again New Waves had an edge and won the game by --- runs. Kuljit again won the toss for TS and put NWs to bat. Kuljit had very options with both batting and bowling, as most players didn’t recover from the sun-stroke of previous Saturday’s two innings match.
Opening bowling spell by TS had some control, but couldn’t get enough wickets to put the brakes on NWs. Zia coming back from a vacation played sensibly, with Kuldeep, Kishore and others in fine nick, put-up a daunting task of 182 runs on the board in alloted 30 overs. TS fielding was worst, giving away singles and two’s. TS looked tiring to come to bat, Kuljit played his best innings of his career scored 52 runs. KP gave very good support to Kuljit and made a well deserving 34 runs. But with other players not contributing, TS had to give up fight in the 25th over and lost the match.
Kuljit expects to see his key players in the coming match, and expects to turn around the performance of his players. He criticized his fielders, and expects to do better from next match on. Kuldeep expressed deep satisfaction and expressed a lot of confidence on his boys to continue their form in the upcoming games.
